Some people have mentioned the noise when changing hours, but it's barely noticeable to me. It's keeping time well and is that not-in-your-face uniqueness that I was looking for. I get lots of compliments on it.

It took a while to arrive, but it's beautiful. Far more personality than a digital clock, and it elevates the living room, or wherever else you want to place it. So far it's actuate, and I have a feeling the D-cell battery is going to last a very long time. Speaking of which, I don't typically buy D-cell batteries, but I like that it doesn't have a cord protruding. That would have made it less beautiful. Highly recommend it this size and color complement your decor.

Looks nice and keeps good time. I wanted something different and sort of a conversation piece.

It does make a ticking noise every minute. I don’t notice when I’m sitting near it. But I can hear it from the living room in my bedroom at night. I would not suggest this for a bedroom as you will not be able to sleep.
